Ross Sharpe joined Yiangou Architects in late 2008. He has brought to the practice a great interest in history and architectural philosophy as well as an excellent knowledge of vernacular building types in most parts of the country. He read History of Art and Architecture, then Architecture at St John's College, Cambridge gaining his final Diploma and a Masters Degree in Architectural Theory there.

Since qualification he has worked for a number of well-known traditional and classical practices and became Associate Director of Robert Adam Architects. He has been involved in the design of many prestigious commissions throughout the country and has specialised in projects within important historic or landscape settings. He has taught on the graduate course at the Prince of Wales's Institute of Architecture and won several prestigious architectural awards.
